Zimbabwe Betting Analysis

Whilst the Zimbabwean batters largely struggled on Friday, Brian Bennett was one of two players who offered resistance. Bennett’s 27 took his overall tally for the series to 76 runs over two matches following his 49 in the opening game. Such performances against a very good bowling attack shouldn’t be ignored by batters, so back Bennett to rack up 20+ runs here for the third consecutive T20i.

Afghanistan Betting Analysis

Afghanistan’s star-performer over the course of this series so far has no doubt been Naveen-ul-Haq. The left-arm bowler who specialises in wicket-taking whether it be in the powerplay or at the death, is coming off the back of having accumulated consecutive three-wicket hauls against Zimbabwe. The home batters have struggled to keep their wickets when Naveen has been bowling and he warrants backing here to pick up 2+ scalps for the third straight match.

Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan Expert Prediction

As we suspected, Afghanistan wound up being significantly better in the second T20i having regained the shaken off the rustiness we saw from them across the opening game won by Zimbabwe. Their batters have clearly gotten the grips with conditions and the opposition bowling attack, whilst the Afghanistan bowlers showed their class.

Afghanistan moving forward, should continue to demonstrate their undoubted ability and promise as an all-round unit and will likely show why they were the clear favourites to win this series despite being shocked in the first game. Back the rubber-match to go the way of Rashid Khan’s side.
