Zhizhen Zhang vs Luca Nardi Prediction

Zhizhen Zhang is coming straight from the Open 13 tournament in Marseille where he retired through injury in his quarter-final clash with Zizou Bergs. After losing the first set, there was no sign of any apparent injury but Zhizhen withdrew and handed the win to Bergs.

It will be interesting to see how he goes here just a few days later and that has to be a concern around the Chinese player.

He meets Italy’s Luca Nardi who came through two rounds of qualifying over the weekend. The 21-year-old won their only previous meeting also at Indian Wells last year and that will give him confidence coming into this one.

We cannot support Zhizhen Zhang here given the injury concerns even if we would usually favour him. This match is one we would typically lean towards game betting but again, if Zhang has any issues, it may not go deep. That would be our pick however if pushed but we recommend being cautious with this one.
