Zhizhen Zhang vs Hubert Hurkacz Prediction

It has been a slot start to 2025 for Zhizhen Zhang and he will be hoping to fare better this week in Provence. The win over Quentin Halys in three sets in the first round will give him a major lift and he now faces a tough test in Huber Hurkacz.

The big Pole looked good last week in Rotterdam and it took an in-form Carlos Alcaraz to beat him over three sets in the semi-final.

He gets his week underway here as the fourth seed and he can take heart from his previous meetings with Zhizhen Zhang. The pair have met four times on the ATP Tour and Hurkacz has won three of those including their one meeting last year.

Hurkacz has to be favoured to get the win one again. He is prone to physical issues which always adds a degree of doubt with him but he is ultimately better than Zhang in all of Zhang’s strong areas.
