Zhang Mingyang (17-6) made his UFC debut last time out and picked up a resounding win as he knocked out Brendson Ribeiro at UFC 298 in February. The 28-year-old, nicknamed the Mountain Tiger, has won his last ten fights which saw him get his shot in the UFC and he will be looking to kick on and extend that streak here.
He faces Ozzy Diaz (9-2) in the UFC’s light heavyweight division and the 34-year-old American is making his debut in the organisation. He fought in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022 but lost out and has since had two fights and won both. He will look to get a win in his first bout in the Octagon.
This is a tough assignment for him however. He is coming up against a beast in Zhang Mingyang and the Chinese fighter is impressive. He has not lost a fight since 2019 and we do not think he will lose here neither.
