Yunchaokete Bu vs Roberto Bautista Agut prediction

Yunchaokete Bu has not played too much clay court tennis this season yet, with just the appearance at the Rio Open in which he was defeated in straight sets by the number one seed Alexander Zverev.

Bu’s recent form has been somewhat mixed, with consecutive defeats at the round of 64 stage at both Indian Wells and Miami, though they were both to players ranked inside the top 10, Daniil Medvedev, who made the final of the event, and Alex De Minaur. 

In comparison, the Spanish veteran has struggled this season already, with first round exits at events such as Qatar, Rotterdam, Indian Wells and the latest in Miami, though his opponent Jakub Mensik has gone on to reach the final so that was a tough draw for Bautista Agut.

Despite the Spaniard being ranked higher than Bu, his horrendous form so far this year should swing things in favour of his younger Chinese opponent, who has the game to outlast the veteran.
