Young Boys Team News: Ugrinic suspension

Young Boys central midfielder Filip Ugrinic is now missing through suspension for this one for picking up too many yellow cards in this season’s league phase. Saidy Janko is closing in on a return to full fitness alongside Facinet Conte but the later isn’t part of their UCL squad.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Keller; Athekame, Camara, Benito, Hadjam; Niasse, Lakomy; Males, Ganvoula, Monteiro; Itten

Unavailable: Ugrinic (Suspended)

Questionable: Janko (Injured)

Crvena Zvezda Team News: Fully fit

Crvena Zvezda have a fully fit and available squad for this week’s trip to Berne to face Swiss champions Young Boys so with no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues, they will be able to name an unchanged eleven for this one.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Glazer; Mimovic, Djiga, Spajic, Seol; Krunic, Elsnik; Silas, Ivanic, Radonjic; Ndiaye

Young Boys vs Crvena Zvezda Prediction

Young Boys have endured a miserable campaign across all competitions so far this season. They were edged out by a goal to nil in Glasgow against Celtic last week due to a late own goal scored by Loris Benito. That means they have suffered seven defeats from seven in this competition and they followed that up with an underwhelming goalless draw against Grasshoppers. They now face a Red Star Belgrade side that were 3-0 down at home to PSV Eindhoven before rallying to eventually lose 3-2 to showcase an attacking intent that has been shown throughout this season, especially at home, despite suffering six defeats with just one victory. They will, though, fancy their chances of travelling to Switzerland this week, whilst the hosts will want to restore some pride so both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one.
