Yoshihito Nishioka vs Casper Ruud Prediction

Yoshihito Nishioka has had one of the hardest paths through to the quarters of any player as he has had to get past Brandon Nakashima and Frances Tiafoe to reach this stage.

He has battled his way past both players and he showed great determination in the clash with Tiafoe as he came back from a set down to progress.

He now faces second-seed Casper Ruud and the Norwegian has looked good in Dallas so far this week. He beat James Duckworth in the first round and then dominated Michael Mmoh in the round of 16.

The pair have met three times before and Ruud has won two of those including the last one in 2023. We favour Ruud to get the win once again here but Nishioka should not be underestimated.
