After Great Britain were beaten for the first time in this event by Switzerland, Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat showed excellent resilience to bounce back the next day and overcome Australia by nine points to eight in a nail-biting encounter. Whilst Switzerland have had a mixed start to the round-robin stage, their lack of potency is proving to be their downfall.
