Wigan Warriors vs Salford Red Devils Prediction

It’s a tumultuous time right now for everyone connected to Salford Red Devils with the players not being paid on time for the second month in a row. Their financial issues make it very difficult to focus on matters out on the pitch, but it’s a testament to the players that they do not find themselves bottom of Super League, having picked up a precious victory last time out in the basement battle against Huddersfield Giants.

Wigan Warriors have suffered a tough couple of weeks themselves, albeit their struggles stem from on the field. Defeat in the Challenge Cup at the hands of Hull FC was further punctured by a narrow 12-10 loss away to Leeds Rhinos in Super League, leaving Matt Peet’s side down in sixth-place heading into the weekend.

However, this serves as the ideal fixture for the Warriors to get themselves back to winning ways and they’ll be expected to do so comprehensively. Anything less than victory for them over Salford would be a huge shock.
