Wigan Warriors Team News: Unchanged 21-man squad for Matt Peet’s men

After their destruction of Warrington in Las Vegas last weekend, Wigan return to the UK and take on the winless Huddersfield Giants. Matt Peet is able to call upon the same 21 players for this match and they came through the match and travel unscathed much to the coach’s relief.

Squad: Jai Field, Abbas Miski, Adam Keighran, Jake Wardle, Liam Marshall, Bevan French, Harry Smith, Luke Thompson, Junior Nsemba, Liam Farrell, Kaide Ellis, Patrick Mago, Liam Byrne, Kruise Leeming, Tyler Dupree, Harvie Hill, Sam Walters, Zach Eckersley, Tom Forber, Jack Farrimond, Harvey Makin

Huddersfield Giants Team News: Trio return to hand Giants much-needed boost

It has been a tough start to the season for Huddersfield Giants and after losing at home to Hull FC by a solitary point last week, they now face the toughest match of the Super League schedule. Luke Robinson has been handed a much-needed boost however as he is able to include Adam Clune, Liam Sutcliffe and Taane Milne for this match and they will notably strengthen his options.

Squad: Jacob Gagai, Adam Swift, Jake Bibby, Liam Sutcliffe, Tui Lolohea, Adam Clune, Oliver Wilson, Tom Burgess, Jack Murchie, Sam Hewitt, Harry Rushton, Ashton Golding, Matty English, Fenton Rogers, Thomas Deakin, Elliot Wallis, Leroy Cudjoe, Taane Milne, Aidan McGowan, Jack Billington, George Flanagan

Wigan Warriors vs Huddersfield Giants Prediction

After travelling thousands of miles earlier this week back from Las Vegas, this is probably the kindest match that Wigan could have wished for against the struggling Huddersfield Giants.

On the contrary, it is probably the last fixture the Giants would have wanted coming into round four winless.

The one advantage for the Giants is that they should be the fresher of the two teams and they have been able to prepare normally for this match with the travel likely to impact the Warriors to a degree.

That said, the gulf in quality between the two teams is stark. The Warriors should get the win here but we are expecting the Giants to be fired up with the aim of bridging the gulf with a high-energy display.

The bookies give them a 20-point start which is a lot and even if they lose and go behind early, they should be capable of keeping it respectable and within the 20 points.

Wigan Warriors vs Huddersfield Giants Tip: Huddersfield Giants +20 points
