Wests Tigers vs Parramatta Eels prediction

The Wests Tigers host the Parramatta Eels in the traditional easter clash at the home venue of both teams. The Tigers will be very keen to take the field and concentrate on the football after a week of controversy shows no signs of slowing down.

With the contract extension of young prospect Lachlan Galvin rejected by his management it appears the Tigers will move on from the young man they have invested much time and effort into developing. When that will happen is anybody’s guess; his current contract runs through 2026 but how many more times he appears in first grade is up for debate.

How this impacts the remainder of his Tiger team remains to be seen. They have been competitive in the past month and showed their resilience by travelling to Newcastle and conceding only a late try in a gritty 20-4 victory.

The Eels road trip to Darwin ended the same as the last three attempts: a double-digit loss (50-12) in oppressive conditions. How they have recovered will go a long way in telling the tale in this one. The return of prodigal halfback Moses hasn’t come a minute too soon.

Parramatta are always a better side at CommBank stadium but didn’t show it in their round two clash at the same venue. We think the Tigers complete the season sweep.
