Wests Tigers vs New Zealand Warriors Prediction
After losing their opening match, both the Tigers and the Warriors have responded in style winning their next two match to represent a solid start to the season for both clubs.
With their outstanding quartet of Jahream Bula, Lachie Galvin, Jarome Luai and Api Koroisau, the Tigers look increasingly strong and there is plenty of optimism in and around the club that they will enjoy a significantly better season than they have had in recent times. They will have to do without impressive winger Jeral Skelton due to a hamstring problem but they will be hoping to produce another dynamic attacking display even without him.
The Warriors bounced back from their loss in Las Vegas to record wins over the Sea Eagles and the Roosters in the last couple of weeks. They come into this game with plenty of positivity also but they must do without a winger of their own as Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been ruled for this match.
With team news largely offsetting each other, it will be interesting to see how the two teams measure up.
The Warriors have won their last seven meetings with the Tigers but this is a much-improved Tigers outfit and they will not be fazed by that history. They will fancy their chances of snapping that but it is hard to love them as fairly big favourites.
We expect a close match but we lean towards the Warriors on the handicap. With a 4.5-point start, that is worth consideration coming into this one.
