West Indies Form: Livingstone Fireworks Deny Windies Series Win

West Indies had looked set for a series victory with one game still to play after racking up 328/6 batting first in the second ODI before reducing England to 107/3 after just over 20 overs in response. However, their bowlers then had no answer to Livingstone and his respective support cast, with every bowler utilised by Shai Hope being dispatched.

England Form: Top Order Cannot Afford To Fail Again

It was England’s middle order led by Livingstone that saved them last time out after the top three combined for just 75 runs chasing 325 on what was an excellent batting surface at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The likes of Will Jacks and Jordan Cox if selected again could each desperately do with a big score here, whilst Jacob Bethell at least showed promise with an impressive 55.

West Indies Betting Analysis

Whilst West Indies were dealt some rough treatment with the ball in the second ODI, Matthew Forde maintained his wicket-taking tendencies with three of his side’s five scalps. This was in addition to his two wickets in the first game. Having taken over 1.5 match in both the ODIs so far, backing him to do the same in the deciding match when up against a struggling top order warrants consideration.

England Betting Analysis

Whilst all the focus has rightly been on Liam Livingstone, it’s also worth crediting Jacob Bethell. The young upstart is adapting well to life on the international scene and followed up his 27 in the first ODI with a half-century in the second. Bethell is improving with every game and bettors are in a prime position to potentially capitalise on that. Explore backing Bethell to record a third straight score of 20+ runs via the ‘Batter Milestones’ market.

West Indies Vs England Expert Prediction

This match will likely be decided on whether West Indies can effectively shut down England’s middle order batting. It’s unsustainable for the tourists to rely on special individual knocks such as Livingstone’s in every game, whilst West Indies have enjoyed big contributions across both ODIs so far from different players whether it be Evin Lewis, Shai Hope or Keacy Carty. Therefore, in what could be another high-scoring battle, back West Indies to edge it on this occasion.
