West Ham Preview: Finding form
West Ham United took the decision to part company with Julen Lopetegui in January and replace him with former Chelsea boss Graham Potter. With a complete shift in style, things have started slowly but performances are beginning to improve for the Irons.
The east Londoners most recently backed up a 1-0 win away at Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium by cruising to a comfortable 2-0 defeat of struggling Leicester City at the London Stadium thanks to a Jannik Vestergaard own goal as well as a strike from Tomas Soucek.
Newcastle Preview: Magpies wings clipped
Newcastle United enjoyed an extremely impressive run of form through the winter as they reached the fifth round of the FA Cup, the final of the EFL Cup and propelled themselves up the table but that may well have taken its toll on a squad that is once again becoming depleted.
Last weekend, they suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton and Hove Albion after extra-time at St James’ Park in the cup and lost Anthony Gordon due to a red card that sees him out of next week’s final. They have also suffered three defeats in their last four matches in the league.

West Ham vs Newcastle Prediction
Newcastle United will head down to the capital city perhaps with the priority to simply avoid any more injuries or suspensions ahead of the aforementioned cup final against Liverpool next week. That may mean they are a little tentative and that should suit a West Ham side still trying to ease themselves into the Potter era as they continue to gel and find some fluency in possession. Siding with the Hammers looks a good bet for this one.
