West Ham Preview: Lopetegui under pressure

Since a 0-2 win away at Crystal Palace in August, West Ham's away form has been fairly disastrous with the Hammers winless in their last five away trips in all competitions, conceding 14 goals in those fixtures.

Their latest was a 0-3 defeat at in-form Nottingham Forest, and Julen Lopetegui will be feeling the pressure again so he will be glad that his his team are back at the London Stadium, where they have won their last two.

Everton Preview: Toothless Toffees

Everton's five-game unbeaten run ended with a disappointing 1-0 defeat at promoted side Southampton last weekend, with the Toffees still clearly struggling for goals despite a general improvement in results following a difficult start to the campaign.

The Toffees were on the verge of taking a point from the Saints at St. Mary's but an Adam Armstrong goal five minutes from time was enough for the hosts to prevail after Beto had threatened to win it for the visitors.

West Ham Team News: Extended ban for Kudus

Mohammed Kudus, who has had his ban extended, will not be available until December and he is joined in missing out on this weekend's fixture by Edson Alvarez, who will serve a one-match suspension for his dismissal at Forest.

Lopetegui will hope to have Tomas Soucek available after illness to fill the gap in midfield, but summer signing Niclas Fullkrug remains out.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson; Soucek, Rodriguez; Paqueta, Bowen, Summerville; Antonio

Unavailable: Alvarez (Suspended), Kudus (Suspended), Fullkrug (Injured)

Questionable: Areola (Injured), Soucek (Illness)

Everton Team News: Dyche hopeful on Ndiaye

Sean Dyche sounded fairly positive regarding Iliman Ndiaye's involvement, while Abdoulaye Doucoure also has a chance of making the squad should he come through training unscathed.

Armando Broja is close to a return but needs to build up his fitness before being considered for the first team, while Dyche could finally re-instate fit-again Jarrad Branthwaite into the heart of defence.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Mangala, Gueye; Harrison, McNeil, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin

Unavailable: Garner (Injured), Iroegbunam (Injured), Chermiti (Injured), Broja (Fitness)

Questionable: Coleman (Injured), Doucoure (Injured), Ndiaye (Injured)

West Ham vs Everton Prediction

Strangely, there has been only one draw in the last 15 meetings in all competitions between to the two sides, but it is difficult to have confidence in either side running away with this one.

West Ham just can't seem to get going under Lopetegui, while Everton's main problem is an inability to find the net right now. This could be a fixture that bucks the historical trend with a share of the spoils anticipated at the London Stadium, and possibly a low-scoring one to boot.
