West Ham Preview: Potter attempts to weave his magic
Graham Potter replaced Julen Lopetegui in charge of West Ham United last month and whilst there may well have been an improvement in terms of their performance level, the Irons have managed just one win in his five matches so far.
Their most recent outing saw them suffer a frustrating 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge at Chelsea a couple of weeks ago in a game in which they opened the scoring via Jarrod Bowen before a second-half turnaround involving a Pedro Neto equaliser and an Aaron Wan-Bissaka own goal.
Brentford Preview: Bees no longer buzzing
Brentford have been very entertaining to watch throughout this campaign with their 24 Premier League games consisting of 84 goals but a frustrating run of form as well as meek exits in both the FA Cup and EFL Cup have provoked a bit of frustration within the Brentford fanbase.
The Bees most recently suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to a struggling Tottenham Hotspur side at the Gtech Community Stadium a couple of weeks ago and that means they have now managed just two victories in their last 11 matches across all competitions.

West Ham vs Brentford Prediction
West Ham, as mentioned, have appeared to put together some much-improved and cohesive patterns of play. They have had a two-week mini break and that will have been perfectly timed for Graham Potter to get to grips with his squad even more. Brentford have prided themselves on their ability to be efficient and effective on the counter-attack ever since gaining promotion to the top-flight. So, with Brentford likely to strike well against a team seeking to dominate the ball, it should be reasonably entertaining for the neutral at the London Stadium this weekend.
