Cameron Carolissen is set to compete in his second World Darts Championship but faces a tough battle to advance through. Whilst Wessel Nijman isn’t a household name, the Dutchman has made headlines this year on the circuit and impressed in the recent Grand Slam of Darts. 

A strong scorer, Nijman already boasts a Players Championship event title to his name and this tournament has the potential to really showcase him to the darting world. If he manages to replicate the scoring power shown on tour this past year but also clean up on his double-hitting, then Nijan should comfortably get the better of Carolissen by three sets to nought.
