Werder Bremen are on fire after a dramatic win at Stuttgart and beating Bochum would make it four straight Bundesliga triumphs.

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Some matches will be televised on ESPN channels so it is worth checking their schedules

How to watch online: UK – Not streamed / US – ESPN+

Werder Bremen Preview: Three in a row

Werder Bremen could make an argument that they are the hottest team in the Bundesliga right now after recording their third consecutive victory and arguably their most impressive away to Stuttgart, backing up wins away to Holstein Kiel and at home against Eintracht Frankfurt respectively.

This form has put Werder in late contention for a place in Europe next season, provided they can keep this excellent run of results going, making this game a must win from their point of view.

Bochum Preview: Out of form at the worst time

Bochum’s 1-2 defeat at home to team men Augsburg was their fourth in a row and means they remain inside the automatic relegation places. What makes it worse was the fact that a win would’ve seen them move above Heidenheim and into 16th-place.

With games running out, Bochum need to turn things around sooner rather than later if they are to avoid relegation into 2. Bundesliga, but this represents a tough task against a side on the opposite end of the form scale.

Werder Bremen Team News: Ducksch or Silva?

Ole Werner is likely to pick between Ducksch and Silva as to who starts this one alongside the in-form Burke. Both Kohn and Veljkovic are doubtful.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Zetterer; Stark, Friedl, Pieper; Weiser, Stage, Lynen, Schmid, Agu; Silva, Burke

Unavailable:

Questionable: Kohn (Injured), Veljkovic (Injured)

Bochum Team News: Suspensions hamper visitors

Both midfielder Matus Bero and centre-back Ivan Ordets miss out for Bochum as the pair are banned, whilst Miyoshi remains out injured.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Horn; Oermann, Medic, Bernardo; Passlack, Pannewig, Sissoko, Krauss, Wittek; Hofmann, Masouras

Unavailable: Bero (suspended), Miyoshi (thigh), Ordets (suspended)

Questionable:

Werder Bremen vs Bochum Prediction

Plenty at stake here for both sides but it’s Werder Bremen who will start as favourites. Whilst they are looking for a fourth straight win, Bochum are looking to avoid a fifth straight loss and confidence within their squad must be extremely low. Werder Bremen have developed a real fighting mentality of late, not quitting until the very end and its reaping rewards. Matches involving them have been high scoring though, with over 2.5 goals in eight of their last ten in all competitions. Back the same outcome here, along with a home win.

Werder Bremen vs Bochum Tip: Werder Bremen to win and over 2.5 goals
