Wales vs Kazakhstan Prediction

Craig Bellamy took charge of Wales last summer following the departure of Rob Page and the former Liverpool forward is now tasked with getting them to back-to-back FIFA World Cup qualifications for the first time ever after their appearances in 1958 and 2022.

The Welsh managed to overcome Turkiye on the final match day of League B of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League, earning automatic promotion to the top-flight of European international football once again. Their performances were consistently strong and results improved, finishing off with a 4-1 demolition of Iceland at the Cardiff City Stadium.

They face a Kazakhstan side that are one of a number of sides that have been much-improved in terms of attacking cohesion, perhaps as a result of the UEFA Nations League. They reached League B of the UEFA Nations League but were immediately automatically relegated from a tough group, taking one point from games against Norway, Austria and Slovenia.

Wales will look, once again, for a fast start in front of their buoyant crowd on a Saturday evening in the capital and a strong start to FIFA World Cup qualification is to be expected for the hosts.
