Villarreal vs Real Mallorca Prediction

Marcelino has majorly improved Villarreal but they have struggled in the last couple of months and currently sit outside of the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots. The Yellow Submarine most recently suffered a 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad and they have now won just one of their last eight matches across all competitions. They now face a Real Mallorca side that haven’t played in the league since 2024 but the Balearic Islanders did begin 2025 with a 3-0 loss to Pontevedra in the cup before a 3-0 loss to Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Supercopa de Espana in Saudi Arabia. They do begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six and the European spots with a much better style of football to watch for the neutral. Given that and the fact Villarreal’s 19 matches consisting of 65 goals means this should be quite a fun watch on Monday.

Villarreal vs Real Mallorca Tip: Over 2.5 goals
