Villarreal Preview: Entertainers locking in
With former Olympique de Marseille boss Marcelino in the dugout, Villarreal have been much-improved in the last couple of seasons and they have been entertaining at the same time with their 33 La Liga matches consisting of 101 goals.
That goals per game rate has dropped of late, though, as they seek to become more efficient and effective in the run-in. That continued last weekend as they edged past Espanyol by a goal to nil last weekend courtesy of a Yeremy Pino winning goal.

Osasuna begin the 34th match day of the 2024/25 La Liga campaign sitting tucked inside the top eight and the European spots having spent the last couple of months worrying about whether or not they could be realistically dragged into the relegation battle.
The Pamplona-based outfit come into this one on the back of a continuation of their good form with a third successive victory about ten days or so ago as they defeated Sevilla by a goal to nil at El Sadar due to a 25th minute winner scored by Ruben Garcia.

Villarreal vs Osasuna Prediction
Villarreal have been brilliant to watch throughout this season and much of last season. They have been haphazard at the back for a lot of it but that has produced some brilliant games for the neutral. Osasuna began the season as likely relegation candidates following the departure of Jago Arrasate but the attacking coaching of Vicente Moreno has them pushing for Europe instead and both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one in Castellon.
