Uran Satybaldiev vs Martin Buday Prediction

This bout was a late change in fight week after Kennedy Nzechukwu was forced to withdraw from the scheduled bout with Martin Buday due to injury. Unbeaten LFA light heavyweight champion Uran Satybaldiev steps in with his 9-0 record and he will look to make a statement on just 48 hours’ notice.

The UFC newcomer, hails from Kyrgyz Republic, and is nicknamed the Gorilla. He possesses good knockout power but is a formidable wrestler also, and it will be interesting to see how he steps up in weight class.

That will be somewhat telling in this fight as he has been fighting at 205lbs and he is taking on Martin Buday who has been at 265lbs. They are approximately the same height but it will be interesting to see the difference in weight and whether that is a factor here.

Buday is coming off a split-decision win over UFC legend Andre Arlovski last June and he has five wins from his six fights since joining the promotion.

It will be interesting to see how he adapts to the new opponent and he may be in for something of a shock. Satybaldiev is a really good technician and while he understandably comes in as the underdog, we think there is good value on him coming into this fight which makes a bet worth considering.

Prediction: Uran Satybaldiev to win
