Royale Union Saint-Gilloise have enjoyed a couple of much-needed victories of late, whilst Ajax may well be turning their full attention to domestic matters as Ajax look to reclaim the title.

Union SG come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Kortrijk at the Guldensporen Stadion in their most recent outing at the weekend. The Brussels-based club have suffered just one defeat in their last seven matches across all competitions with that one loss coming at Ibrox against Rangers last month.

Coached by former Nice boss Francesco Farioli, Ajax have lifted themselves above a faltering PSV Eindhoven side in the Eredivisie at the top-of-the-table with a game-in-hand. The visitors defeated Fortuna Sittard by two goals to nil at the weekend and that means they have now won eight and lost two of their last ten matches across all competitions.

Ajax have built a squad with a fair bit of experience in it, such as Jordan Henderson and Wout Weghorst, but still with an abundance of young talent, too, as is their club philosophy. A double chance bet in favour of the Dutch giants looks the way to go for this one.
