Turkey Preview: TURKS’ GOOD PERFORMANCES
Former Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella is in charge of a Turkish national team that come into this one on the back of an impressive performance at UEFA EURO 2024 as they reached the quarter-finals with a victory against Austria in the Round of 16.
The Turks have started the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League campaign with three victories and a draw in their opening four matches. They came from behind last month to defeat Iceland by four goals to two in Reykjavik.
Wales Preview: THE BELLAMY ERA
Craig Bellamy was appointed Wales boss ahead of the September international break and the Dragons have put in some impressive performances, especially in terms of attacking from the start, but there is something slightly lacking in terms of consistent incision.
The Welsh come into this one on the back of a good example of dominating Montenegro at the Cardiff City Stadium last month but only managing a 1-0 victory thanks to a 36th minute penalty scored by Harry Wilson.

Turkey vs Wales Prediction
With an abundance of talent in attacking areas of the pitch, most notably Real Madrid’s Arda Guler, as well as Vincenzo Montella’s insistence on an attacking style of football, Turkey will take the game to anyone, especially at home. Wales will have to be creative and a little more counter-attacking in the way they approach what is a must win game for their promotion hopes. It was an entertaining goalless draw in the reverse fixture and another entertaining game in which both teams score remains the best bet for this one.
