Tresean Gore: Mr Vicious looking for back-to-back wins in Octagon

Tresean Gore (4-2) got his first win in the UFC last time he fought as he submitted Josh Fremd but that was over two years ago now. He has struggled with injuries with a wrist problem in 2023 and then a shoulder issue in 2024. He is finally fit however to get his career back on track and he will be desperate to make up for lost time. He lost his first two matches after earning a shot in the UFC via The Ultimate Fighter. He did however pull off a superb guillotine choke on Fremd and will now look to build on that on his return.

Antonio Trocoli: 33-year-old Brazilian looks for first win in UFC

After waiting for his shot in the UFC for years, Antonio Trocoli (12-4 with one no contest) was TKO’d on his UFC debut in June as Sharabutdin Magomedov got the better of him. He now returns and will be hoping to prove he can cut it in the big time at the age of 33. Prior to that fight, he had three years away from MMA and it could very well take some time to get up speed. The TKO in his first fight back was not optimal preparation for putting a run together and he will aim to get back on track here.

Tresean Gore vs Antonio Trocoli Prediction

Both of these fighters have seen very little action in recent times for one reason or another and that is no doubt why they have been paired up to face each other here.

Gore has had injury issues but has shown enough in his short career to suggest he could string some wins together in the organisation.

Trocoli’s resume has been built up outside of the UFC so it is not easy to judge his level; even more so after he was stopped in his UFC debut.

It is Gore that we marginally prefer to get the win from what he has shown in his relatively short career but approach this one with caution. The lack of activity for both fighters is a cause for concern.

Prediction: Tresean Gore to win
