We have a meeting of two teams that sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table in Serie A with very little to play for as we head into the final month of the 2024/25 campaign.

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Select matches will be televised on CBS Sports so it is worth checking their schedule

How to watch online: UK – OneFootball / US – Paramount+

Torino Preview: Tedious Torino

In the summer, Torino appointed former Venezia boss Paolo Vanoli to try and play a more encouraging and progressive style of football after the job of Ivan Juric, who has just departed from Southampton after a fairly humiliating spell in English football.

The entertainment levels have marginally improved but results have marginally declined so, as was ever thus with the recent iteration of Torino, they are simply just existing in the Italian top-flight. They most recently suffered a 1-0 loss away to Cesc Fabregas’ Como.

Udinese Preview: Fading Friulians

After avoiding relegation on the final day of last season, the Pozzo family appeared to turn their immediate and overall focus away from Watford and back onto the damaged Udinese and the appointment of former Legia Warsaw boss Kosta Runjaic has been a generally positive one.

The Friulians begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom-half of the table after a four-match losing streak as they coast towards the end of the season with their most recent outing being a 4-0 defeat to AC Milan at the Bluenergy Stadium last weekend.

Torino Team News: Saul Coco suspended

Former Las Palmas defender Saul Coco is missing through suspension for Torino this weekend. The hosts also have some key injury doubts such as former West Ham United midfielder Nikola Vlasic and former Newcastle United winger Valentino Lazaro.

Predicted XI (4-1-2-1-2): Milinkovic-Savic; Walukiewicz, Guillermo Maripan, Biraghi, Sosa; Linetty; Gineitis, Elmas; Casadei; Adams, Tonny Sanabria

Unavailable: Schuurs (Injured), Saul Coco (Suspended), Njie (Injured), Duvan Zapata (Injured)

Questionable: Vlasic (Injured), Lazaro (Injured)

Udinese Team News: Attacking injuries

Udinese have some key attacking injury doubts for this weekend’s trip to Turin such as Chile international Alexis Sanchez and former Newcastle United winger Florian Thauvin. They also have some confirmed absentees such as Isaak Toure and Jordan Zemura.

Predicted XI (3-5-1-1): Okoye; Kristensen, Bijol, Solet; Ehizibue, Lovric, Karlstrom, Ekkelenkamp, Kamara; Atta; Lucca

Unavailable: Toure (Injured), Zemura (Injured)

Questionable: Sava (Injured), Sanchez (Injured), Thauvin (Injured), Davis (Injured)

Torino vs Udinese Prediction

Torino’s 38 matches in Serie A last season consisted of just 72 goals and that was a key reason for the departure of Juric and appointment of Vanoli. Their 32 games have now consisted of 73 goals but it is hardly the lightning rise that they would have been hoping for. Udinese began the season with exciting performances before becoming quite defensive but effective and now just coasting to the end of the season so this is hardly an overly intriguing encounter for the neutral.

Torino vs Udinese Tip: Under 2.5 goals
