Travel Distances 2024/25 – English League One

Here at TSZ we have put together a list of all the travel distances for the 2024/25 English League One season.

The distances have been determined by using the shortest route by road on Google Maps at the time of writing. The mileage shown is for the round-trip from a team's home stadium to the opponent's home stadium, and back again, for all away games in the league campaign. This is strictly a 'by road' analysis, other means of transport (e.g. train) are not considered.

TOTAL DISTANCES

  • Exeter fans who travel to every away game in League One will total almost 10,000 miles over the course of the 2024/25 season - significantly more than any other team in the division.
  • The Birmingham faithful have less than half that distance to travel, with their average round trip coming in at just over 200 miles.

WHAT IS THE LONGEST AWAY TRIP IN LEAGUE ONE?

  • The 558-mile round trip between Blackpool and Crawley is the longest in League One this season.
  • Shrewsbury, Burton, Northampton and Birmingham are the only teams in League One who will not have to travel over 400 miles for any league fixture in the 2024/25 campaign.

WHAT IS THE SHORTEST AWAY TRIP IN LEAGUE ONE?

  • The 14-mile round trip between London outfits Charlton and Leyton Orient is the shortest in League One.
  • Although Exeter's trip to Bristol Rovers is their shortest of the league season, it still comes in at 164 miles for the round trip.
