British eyes will be on Jack Draper on day two at the US Open as he gets underway. The talented Brit will rightly be confident coming into this one given his recent form on hard courts. Draper played extremely well in Cincinnati and handled the speed of the courts and the intense heat very well.

The controversy over the match-winning point against Felix Auger-Aliassime did him no favours and likely impacted him in the next round when he was eventually eliminated by Holger Rune but he should be over that now.

He can focus completely on this match and the challenge that Zhizhen Zhang presents. The Chinese star will be no pushover and has been playing pretty well himself in the last couple of months albeit in some slightly lesser tournaments. Having said that, Draper boasts the quality to beat him here. Over this best of five encounter, Zhang can certainly win a set, but we favour Draper to progress.
