STEFANOS TSITSIPAS VS ROBERTO CARBALLES BAENA PREDICTION

Tenth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will be hoping for another week that trends in a positive direction for him after a tough summer and he comes from Basel where he reached the quarter-finals. Tsitipas has been handed an opening match here against Carballas Baena who he has met three times before and beaten on all three occasions.

All three of those meetings came on clay, including one earlier this year in Barcelona. Tsitsipas will be confidence he can follow that up on a hard surface here in Paris.

Carballes Baena was drawn as a lucky loser after being knocked out in qualifying by Lorenzo Sonego on Sunday. The 31-year-old Spaniard will now look to take advantage of that fortune but it is a tough assignment against Tsitsipas.

Everything points towards Tsitsipas here and we fully expect him to win. We would not rule out a valiant effort by the Spaniard but consider Tsitsipas to win in straight sets.
