For qualifier Duje Ajdukovic, this certainly represents the biggest match of the 23-year-old’s career. The world number 130 has come through five matches to reach the last four, most recently defeating Thiago Monteiro in three sets, and he will relish the opportunity to take on one of tennis’ greats.
Nadal’s biggest obstacle to victory here will be his body, which has been put through its paces in its first outing since the French Open.
