QINWEN ZHENG VS XINYU WANG PREDICTION
Qinwen Zheng looks to be doubly motivated this week as a nasty fall thwarted her in Beijing last week. That has arguably only served to fire up even more than usual and she has played well this week. Her latest win came against pocket rocket Italian Jasmine Paolini who she beat in three sets and she will now look to beat her compatriot.
Xinyu Wang really has enjoyed a fabulous week in Wuhan and the Chinese 23-year-old is loving every minute of it. She is typically more successful in the doubles but her singles play has been excellent this week.
Whether she can keep it going at this point remains to be seen but she is a clear underdog against Qinwen Zheng. The more experienced Qinwen has to be favoured and this is a culmination of her improving form over the last few weeks. We expect her to make it to the final and likely in straight sets.
