MARIANO NAVONE VS TAYLOR FRITZ PREDICTION

Taylor Fritz comes into the Canadian Open on a high after winning a Bronze Medal in the doubles at the Olympics and the 26-year-old will be keen to follow that up in Montreal. He is enjoying an exceptional 2024 with a W/L record of 37/14 and he will relish the hard courts in Canada. He is showing up increasingly better this year in the big tournaments having reached the quarters in the Australian Open and Wimbledon, while reaching the semis and quarters in ATP 1000 events in Madrid and Rome respectively. Assuming there is no hangover from Paris, Fritz will be confident to go far this week.

He meets 23-year-old Argentine Mariano Navone who is very much a clay court specialist.
