MARCOS GIRON VS ALEXANDER ZVEREV PREDICTION

Alexander Zverev was in strong form as he comfortably beat Roberto Carballes Baena in straight sets and only dropped eight games in the process. He will be heartened by that victory and particularly his service game where he fired down an outstanding 18 aces. On that form, he will be a match for anybody this fortnight and he will look to continue that against Giron here.

Giron will take confidence himself from this four-set win over Brit Henry Searle in the first round as after a slow start and losing the first set, he responded in style winning the next three. He will not be afforded the luxury of starting slowly against Zverev and he will have raise his game significantly to trouble the German.

Zverev won their only previous meeting in four sets at the Australian Open in 2021 and a similar type of victory, if not more comprehensive, is predicted here.
