MARCO TRUNGELLITI VS LORENZO MUSETTI PREDICTION

It was some fortnight for Italian 22-year-old Lorenzo Musetti at Wimbledon at the start of July as the relative novice on grass produced some of the best tennis of his career to reach the semi-finals. His flair and creativity, combined with some superb returning, saw Musetti go the furthest he has ever been in a Grand Slam event and he will surely have more confidence in himself than ever before. He returns to action at the Croatia Open in Umag as the second seed behind Andrey Rublev and he will be eager to back up his efforts at Wimbledon with a strong week on his preferred clay surface.

He faces 34-year-old Argentine Marco Trungelliti who has gone through two rounds of qualifiers and a round of 32 match to get this far. The veteran has done incredibly well to get this far but he has drawn one of the toughest opponents possible. Expect a straight sets win for Musetti who should get off to a winning start.
