World number 63 Lorenzo Sonego is a much better player than his current raking suggests but he is struggling to fins anything like his best tennis in 2022. A straight-sets victory over Alejandro Tabilo on Tuesday is a solid leveller at Winston-Salem but world number 34 Maxime Cressy is one of the shorter straws to have drawn so early on in the tournament and the American will be confident of a result here.
