KAREN KHACHANOV VS BRANDON NAKASHIMA PREDICTION
There was no sign of a hangover for Karen Khachanov in his first-round win over Thiago Seyboth Wild following his win in the Almaty Open last week. The Russian beat the Brazilian 6-2 6-4 in another dominant display and he is playing some really strong tennis at the moment.
He now meets American Brandon Nakashima who he has never played before the ATP Tour. He will not be underestimating the 23-year-old however as he comes off a 6-4 6-4 win over Tommy Paul in the first round.
Nakashima is playing some decent tennis himself of late and he will relish this task of beating Khachanov. Much will depend on if his return game is on point and how he handles the tall Russian’s serve. We fancy his chances of doing that based on his showing against Paul and we are tipping the American to end Khachanov’s good run.
