KAREN KHACHANOV VS ALEX DE MINAUR PREDICTION

Karen Khachanov is one of the most in-form players on the ATP Tour right now and after winning in Almaty last week, he will have his sights set on back-to-back titles now. After beating Thiago Seyboth Wild and then Brandon Nakashima, many expected a tough time against Matteo Berrettini in the quarters. Khachanov dominated from start to finish in a 6-1 6-4 win and now faces Alex de Minaur in the second semi-final.

De Minaur is getting better with every match and the Australian will take plenty from his quarter-final win over Jakub Mensik. He saw the Czech player hit 15 aces against him and generate four break points but De Minaur did not get broken once and was clutch when it mattered the most.

The belief is returning to his game with every match he wins and his body is holding up well also. We like his chances in this one to snap Khachanov’s remarkable run. De Minaur has the quality in his return game to generate break point opportunity – something Berrettini struggled with – and we favour him to make it through to the final.
