World number 78 Jiri Lehecka finished runner-up to Brandon Nakashima at the Next Gen ATP Finals late last season but the Czech is currently little threat to the top 20 on tour. Norrie needed three sets to beat Lehecka in their only previous meeting back in 2021 but the Brit, raised in New Zealand, should take his Auckland opener in two.
