THE PREDICTION
World number one and defending Indian Wells champion Iga Swiatek overcame former champion Bianca Andreescu in two well-contested sets on Monday. The 21-year-old has reached the final in each of her last two tournaments on tour but a straight-sets defeat to Barbora Krejcikova at the Dubai Masters last time out scuppered her chances at emulating the incredible 37-match winning streak she made last season, where she won six WTA titles including four Masters events and Roland-Garros.
