World number 78 Claire Liu overcame Yue Yuan in three sets to earn another chance at playing the top player in the world but she should struggle more than usual here against the home favourite, who will be backed to the hilt in Warsaw. Liu has already lost twice to Swiatek this season, in straight sets at Indian Wells and Roland-Garros, taking just five games in total. Back Swiatek to win the match with fewer than 16.5 games.
