GRIGOR DIMITROV VS DUSAN LAJOVIC PREDICTION

Grigor Dmitrov comes into this first round clash with Dusan Lajovic as hot favourite and with good reason due to his impressive form so far this year. His strong performances including a quarter-final appearance at the French Open has seen Dimitrov return to the top ten in the ATP world rankings and he is full of confidence right now.

He has won two of the three previous meetings with Lajovic and all three have been relatively close matches. However, it is hard to make a case for Lajovic here. The Serbian has not been in particularly good form in 2024 and with no competitive preparation on grass leading up to Wimbledon, Dimitrov should coast past him here.
