THE PREDICTION
There should be a strong Greek turn-out for their opening United Cup clash on Tuesday and that should see both Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari able to win their singles matches in time to take the pressure off of this doubles match. The pair won all three of their doubles matches last season, though, and with the Paris Olympics coming up this summer it seems likely that they will play together in dead rubber matches for practice. That makes this already steep challenge a much tougher one for Chile, who almost shocked a Canadian side missing star man Felix Auger-Aliassime on Sunday. Given they still has skin in that tie, much of the onus of this match will rely on Nicolas Jarry’s result against Tsitsipas but ultimately it is hard to see Greece losing their opening doubles appearance in front of strong support.
