GIOVANNI MPETSHI PERRICARD VS KAREN KHACHANOV PREDICTION

Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is in the form of his life right now and he was impressive once again in his first-round win over France’s Tiafoe. Had he not far gone support firmly behind him, he may not have come through that one bit he dug deep against the valiant Tiafoe and edged a three-setter.

Karen Khachanov is in equally good form right now and he is full of confidence. The Russian had to tough it out himself to beat Christopher O’Connell in three sets and grind his way through a deciding set tiebreak.

He comes off a title win in Almaty and then runner-up in Vienna last week to Jack Draper so his form is red hot right now.

Our only question mark over Khachanov is fatigue and that will likely kick in this week. This match against Mpetshi Perricard is unlikely to see many long rallies but will likely be a long one.

We like the Frenchman’s chances here once again. He has great momentum, absolute confidence in his game, and is likely to be the fresher of the two players.
