FRANCISCO COMESANA VS ADAM WALTON PREDICTION

Francisco Comesana was on cloud nine after pulling off the shock of this year’s championships so far as the relative unknown Argentine defeated number six seed Andrey Rublev in four sets. The win was fully deserved too as Comesana was the better player throughout and while Rublev was off his game, Comesana played extremely well handling some key moments when Rublev was putting the pressure on.

He now faces Adam Walton who has already beaten one Argentine player in the first round as he beat Federico Coria in straight sets. His return game was especially good in that match but Coria was very poor at the same time and it is hard to imagine Walton will have it all his own way in this match.

Assuming that win does not go to Comesana’s head and he retains his focus, he will pose Walton some trouble here. Walton is favoured to get the win but expect Comesana to take at least a set in this one.
