FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO VS LORENZO MUSETTI PREDICTION
25-year-old Argentine Francisco Cerundolo will be fired up to get another title under his belt in what is arguably his most consistent year of his career so far. He has reached three ATP 500 semi-finals already in 2024 and after beating Andrey Rublev in the semis here, he will be motivated to finish the job here. The win over Rublev 7-6 6-4 was impressive with Rublev playing well this week and being the top seep. Cerundolo was not phased and got the win straight sets.
He meets Lorenzo Musetti and the Italian 22-year-old has real momentum in his game right now. He is coming off a superb straight-sets win over Jakub Mensik in the semis where he only dropped five games and he is playing with great confidence right now. After a rest following his strong Wimbledon performances, he is fit and fresh and has to be favoured to win here. The two have met a couple of times before and Musetti won both in straight sets.
