FRANCES TIAFOE VS MATTEO BERRETTINI PREDICTION

Fifth seed Frances Tiafoe battled through a tricky first-round match against Cam Norrie as he won 6-4 7-6. His task does not get any easier as he now faces Italian Matteo Berrettini in the round of 16 on Wednesday evening.

The pair have met twice before and won one match apiece. The last meeting was in 2022 which Tiafoe while Berrettini won the clash back in 2018.

Berrettini overcame Marton Fucsovics in his opener 7-5 6-4 and he will be hoping to put a run together in Vienna this week. The Italian will rely on his big serve as usual but in Tiafoe he comes up against somebody who is serving just as well.

We prefer Tiafoe’s return game that fraction more than Berrettini’s so we just edge the American to get the win. However, our preferred play is on the game betting and we fully expect a set or potentially two to go the distance.
