FRANCES TIAFOE VS CAMERON NORRIE PREDICTION

Frances Tiafoe has had a little dip after the North American leg of the ATP Tour but that was to be expected after the energy expended during that run and some of his impressive performances. He has not quite hit those heights in Asia but he returns to Europe and will fancy his chances of having a run if he can build some momentum in Vienna.

Cam Norrie has had a tough time of it on the hard courts since Wimbledon and the Brit could do with a couple of wins to build some confidence and momentum. He picked up an injury that forced him out of the US Open and he has struggled in the few matches he has played since. He won a couple of matches in a Challenger event but lost when he played anybody of any quality. In Stockholm last week he lost in his opening match to Miomir Kecmanovic in straight sets.

It is hard to see Norrie having much success based on his recent form and considering his lack of matches. While Tiafoe is not exactly firing on all cylinders right now, he is still playing at a consistently higher level than the struggling Norrie. Expect the American to progress to the next round with relative ease.
