ELINA SVITOLINA VS XINYU WANG PREDICTION
Elina Svitolina is fresh off an impressive win over Ons Jabeur in the third round and she will be full of confidence after that straight sets’ win. Not only was Jabeur tipped by many to go deep this year, but Jabeur was ranked number ten so Svitolina will have no fear in facing Zinyu Wang in the round of 16.
The Chinese 25-year-old has battled through all three of her matches so far with each one going to three sets. The win over fifth seed Jessica Pegula caught the attention of many and highlighted Wang as one that should not be underestimated.
The pair have never met on the WTA Tour but Svitolina has to be favoured to progress from this match. She is flying with confidence and barring any complacency, she should have too much for Wang.
