DUSAN LAJOVIC VS LORENZO MUSETTI PREDICTION
A fascinating match lies in store at the Goran Ivanisevic Stadium on Thursday evening as Lorenzo Musetti meets Dusan Lajovic for a place in the semi-finals at the Croatia Open.
Musetti looked strong in his 6-4 6-3 win over Marco Trungelliti on Wednesday and he will now face Lajovic who he has met twice before. Musetti won the both matches in 2022 and the 22-year-old has only improved since then. He will be confident of getting a third successive win against his rival, 12 years his senior.
Lajovic has done well so far this week beating Filip Misolic in three sets and then Flavio Cobolli on Wednesday in straight sets. The 34-year-old Serb will be eager to measure up against Musetti but he will likely come up short once again. Strong preference is for Musetti to win, and more than likely in straight sets.
