Diana Shnaider is on the rise and the 20-year-old is enjoying a strong week in Budapest. She has risen to her highest-ever ranking at the start of this week at number 28 in the world, and victory here will only see her rise further.

She meets Aliaksandra Sasnovich who has battled her way into the final this week. Three of her four matches went to all three sets but she has not overly been convincing at times. She beat Anna Karolina Schmiedlova in the semi-finals on Saturday in spite of delivering a stunning 17 double faults. She will find Shnaider will not be so forgiving and expect the 20-year-old to expose that and win in straight sets.
